Election really is the time of false hope and empty promises. What's irritating are the flicks of the candidates
na nagsasabing kapag sila ang mananalo, wala ng corruption sa Pilipinas. At mas morally upright and righteous sila kesa sa ibang mga candidates. I'm sorry sa mga supporters ng candidates na ito, but since this is a free country, I am entitled to say what I think about these candidates. Well, I think and believe that these candidates are arrogants and insincere. How can I say this? Well, alam naman natin na corruption in its essence is simply indispensable in any type of government and in any type of culture. What's realistic is that corruption can be "controlled or moderated" depending on the priorities and transparancies of government. At kung "walang corrupt, walang mahirap?" Mahirap ang tao dahil walang trabaho! Hanap-buhay ang solution ng problema natin. So why not make an issue the solution of this problem at hindi yung i-blame natin sa kung saan-saan ang problema ng bansa at iignore ang totoong issue? Presidentiables should be fueled and judged by their platform!
How about this one's battlecry? I'm really sorry, I should have spare brother Eddie Villanueva from this. I have huge respect to Church Leaders because I'm also a Christian. But medyo arrogant kasi ang statement nya and I believe a servant of God should not act like this. "Sino pa ang magtatama sa mali?" he says. Sya lang ang tama then sa lahat ng kandidato o incumbent or past leaders natin? He also said that kapag nanalo sya, the country will be free from corruption in six years. Why six years? Pag wala na sya, balik corruption uli ang mga Pilipino? If this is true, then hindi nya babaguhin ang sistema.
Pakiusap po sa mga kandidato; huwag namang arogante. Huwag namang paasahin ang masa sa alam naman nating imposibleng mawala 100%. Tama lang po ang bitiwan nating salita; yung totoo lang po. Election is not a battle of evil and less evil. Its a battle of platform of government, and what you can do to us.
