A clamour for factual survey

Results of survey, especially tuwing election, are important in our decision-making. Kaya nga nagiging part na ng fraud ng mga pulitiko ang pag maniobra ng mga survey. Madalas iba ang kinahihinatnan ng election compared to recent surveys. Like for example, before the 1994 elections, nangunguna sa surveys si then presidentiable Miriam Santiago; samantalang ang nanalo naman ay si dating Presidenting Fidel V. Ramos.

Ngayong 2010 elections, nangunguna sa mga surveys si Noynoy Aquino, pumapangalawa naman si Manny Villar. However, how can we trust the result of these surveys when those who conducted it were commissioned by Manny Villar himself and Kiko Pangilinan, supporter of Noynoy? Tapos they made an alibi "Cory's charm" kaya nangunguna si Noynoy. Hindi naman bobo o fanatic ang mga Pilipino, anoh! Si Manny Pacquiao nga, sobrang popular. Tuwing laban nya, zero crime rate buong Pilipinas puls may namamatay pa dahil sa heart attack, yet talo sya sa sarili nyang probinsya.

Mabuti nalang may independent survey na kinonduct recently by Campaigns and Image Group. Although ibang-iba ang result kesa sa mga naglipanang survey, we are assured that this one is factual. The survey was conducted by Campaigns and Image Group commissioned by multi-million private investors in the country from UK and US. The respondents were classified by age and sector, at napaka amazing ng resulta, ibang-iba sa lagi nating nababasa.

The survey shows that Gilbert Teodoro is preferred by 3.72% of the respondents aging from 18-28 years old which represents 80% of the 2010 election voters. Villar was placed in second with 2.76% while Noynoy was third at 1.80 percent.

Maging sa age bracket na 29-39 years old, nangunguna parin si Teodoro which was preferred by 3.34%; sumusunod naman si Villar na nakakuha ng 1.20%. Si Noynoy naman ay nakakuha lamang ng 1.0%.

Now we know. Mahirap magtiwala sa media ngayon, pati media namamani-obra na. Kailangan natin discernment for truth before casting our ballots. Otherwise, taon na naman ang bibilangin to get rid of a terrible choice.
